«Strandbad» (Lido) Freiburg

Beautifully located in the Dreisamtal, Freiburg’s largest outdoor swimming pool is the city’s most popular holiday destination. More than 3,300 square meters of water, a 50-meter lane and many children’s attractions such as several water slides and family pools await visitors. The spacious lawn offers enough space for relaxation. Catering is also provided, from the classic outdoor pool kiosk to various ice cream stands and the Spanish tapas bar, there is something for every taste and hunger!

Getting there

With the tram line 1 to the final stop Laßbergstraße in Littenweiler you can reach the lido in about 20 minutes.
You can also get to the lido by car in around 15 minutes, but we recommend using public transport due to the lack of parking spaces.
Our tip: just cycle comfortably along the Dreisam to the lido!
